    Congrats! This is called damage control and it's soooo very important! Some people overeat and them tell themselves they will just start again tomorrow because they have screwed up their day. When this happens, it's important not to give up but to go out there and burn the extra calories.

    I also like this approach a lot. I keep a daily food and calorie intake record, but try to be accountable for the weekly calorie intake. so if one day i overcame my daily calorie budget, the next day i cut some 100 calories from 2-3 meals and if i overtook some 500-600 calories in a week, then i add an extra hour of cardio training in the weekend
