I find I eat the healthiest when I take the time to plan the next day's meals and snacks the night before, enter them in my nutrition tracker, then make adjustments (if needed) to stay within range on the various nutrients I track. I then pack my lunch and two snacks to take to work...no excuses!

Use the nutrition tracker - even on days that you go over. The nutrition tracker has helped keep me motivated, and helps with meal planning. Each night, I prepare my foods for work the next day and go ahead and enter them into the tracker. I can then plan a healthy dinner based on the totals.
I plan ahead with meals as much as possible and I always try to put them into the nutrition tracker in the morning before I have lunch and dinner. This way I can see what I'm lacking and may need to add in and what I'm getting too much of and need to cut out. This is especially helpful for me with eating out. I'll look up a restaurants nutrition facts and if I can't afford that many calories today I move on to another place and plan ahead that way.
