Read this book or listen to the audio book because it will really open up your eyes about how the use of high fat, high sugar and high salt foods in the food industry/processed foods is re-wiring our brains. I've lost 68 lbs. thanks to Dr. Kessler, SparkPeople, Leslie Sansone, and Dr. Oz. Dr. Kessler taught me ways to avoid certain foods until I have overcome my craving for them.
This book helped me Make Rules for myself in order to avoid highly palatable foods and their triggers. If you eat these foods and feel like it's getting out of control you are probably a hyperconditioned eater like me. Sample rules: "I don't eat french fries. I don't eat ice cream."

A powerful way to combat being out of control concerning our diet is to become fully aware of what certain food companies and" eateries" are doing purposely to make us overweight. I recommend the book "The end of overeating" by David.A.Kessler. isbn 978-0-141-04781-2 (penguin books- 2009). It will change the way you see all those addictive junk non -foods, and you will regain your health. Why can't we stop eating large quantities of certain foods and drinks? His book will tell you.
