If you have a wegmans nearby, you need to pick up their "thai" veggie broth. It's vegetarian, and can be used in place of any vegetable/chicken/beef broth, but it has an explosive flavor - lemongrass, spice, etc. I use it to make simple dishes like lentils or rice taste out of this world!
(and when they are so tasy, it becomes easy to turn a side dish into a cheap, easy meal)

Thai food-a few tweaks go a long way for a healthier alternative to eating out!
Having grown up in an international home,I love spicy food and I love Thai food!At the restaurant,drink a cup or two of tea.By the time your meal arrives you've curbed your hunger and can eat half and enjoy the rest later.Go for the steamed veggies,seafood and stay away from coconut/cream based sauces.Ask for steamed brown rice instead of white.The papaya salad is to die for and extremely healthy.Watch out for the hot HOT spices.Little changes go a long way when eating out.9
