Plan in advance for events and holidays. That way you can relax and enjoy yourself without worrying and getting anxious. Even if it does play out exactly as you planned it, you have started out on the right track, and that helps you get right back on again.
Take the anxiety out of weight loss by planning in advance what you'll be eating for the day, and having your foods available. You won't be stuck in a situation where you have to grab something that's not going to fit into your diet--stay satisfied and nourished!211
Wherever you go, make the effort to bring healthy snacks and beverages so that you don't have to make impulsive choices that could be counterproductive (I'm thinking vending machines and fatty/sugary snacks)-peanuts in the shell, apples, baby carrots, pretzels, water...they don't spoil too quickly.
