I know that if I save packing lunch for the morning, I am likely to oversleep or forget to pack it. But, if I make myself an extra portion (or several extra portions) of dinner and put the leftovers into one-serving per container pieces of tupperware, I don't stress about lunch in the morning.

Granted, it helps to have a microwave at work, but you can make something you can eat both hot AND cold (like whole grain pasta, pesto, tomatoes and fresh mozzarella; broiled salmon you can put on a salad). Always have spare, microwave and dishwasher safe containers handy for leftovers!

I really hate doing dishes, so it's so much easier for me to just grab the chip bag out of the cabinet. So now, when I do shopping, I buy plenty of sandwich and snack bags. When I get home and am putting everything away, I put the serving size of the chips and other snacks into the plastic baggies.

I'm always running late for work, so when I'm packing my lunch, it's so easy just to throw the bags in.
I plan out everything I do, chores, homework, workout, cooking and so on, including what I'm going to eat. I do better when I know what I'm supposed to be doing. I right out the week every Sunday, tape in appt. cards, work everything around work and don't be so strickt I don't leave time for friends.
