I have come to call my working out my "selfish" time. It is the time I set aside for just me, to focus on me, to better me. While it benefits my whole family, I truly am doing this for me. This outlook helps me focus and remember what is important.

More Information:

It helps me to clear my head, and work around problems and obstacles and be free from cell phones, computers, instant messaging, etc. It is a place where I can clear my mind, heart, and soul and when I come back home I feel so refreshed and proud that I took the time for me!

  • I agree we must set time aside for ourselves. It took me awhile to learn how truly important this is, but once I started setting aside my workouts as 'me' time I have felt so much better both in mind and body. - by MILDEXSPI
