On the message board, I have my favorite topics and sometimes I spend a lot of time looking for those favorites. Just tonight it occurred to me that I could open a whole new session of Firefox and put my 5 favorites, each in their own tab. Tomorrow I can go to that Firefox session and just click on that tab, refresh the screen and answer the question, which is usually something having to do with cities or travel or the bucket list. 211
I used to make a lot of excuses. It did not occur to me that what I really needed was to make better choices and opportunities. I really don't like salad. So one day I thought OK, no one else is going to solve this for me... so I took a special trip to the grocery store just to brainstorm and came up with a list of good/better and best choices I could have on hand to reach my vegetable goals each day. I don't have time to exercise... so I searched SP strength exercises and found ones I like.
My family never wants to do anything together... so we sat down and made a bucket list of things we wanted to do together, things like going dancing (my kids are young adults) and canoing, and playing bingo, cards, or swimming. The time I invested in brainstorming gave me motivation to try them!
Save money on dryer sheets by getting a five gallon bucket and pouring fabric softener in the bucket. Then fill the container the fabric softener came out of with water and pour it into the bucket too. Fill again with water and pour into bucket. Then get a few sponges and put in the bucket. When you need a dryer sheet take a sponge out and use it.
