Trying to be sure that I get 5-6 fruits and vegs a day! My summer days are crazy so these are my faves that I keep at home and work pre-packed and ready: Sugarfree Applesauce, Low Sodium V8 cans, 6 prunes or apricots, 1 1/2 cups green beans, 1 oz raw almonds. If I get these, then I"ve met my goal!

Homemade Fruit Fly Traps
Even with proper cleaning sometimes we end up with those pesky fruit flies. They are one of the easiest pest to bait & kill without buying chemicals. When it gets hard to get in all the water you should drink I go for either sparkling water with lemon or lime (other fruits would work as well) or Clear American (available at Wal-Mart), which is also a easy way to sneak in some vitamins as some of them contain vitamins and/or minerals that we need for health reasons.

Your body does not have different signals when it needs water or food. So sometimes when you think you are hungry, in fact its just your body asking for water! So the next time you say "how can i be hungry i just ate' Drink a glass of water and find something to do for 15 minutes!
