Just don't drink it! Diet or Regular it is just nasty and a bad habit. I challenge soda drinkers to write down the ingredients and then research what they are and what they do to your body. One key point I want to make is Diet is not better for you than regular. Diet soda is just as likely to cause health issues, like diabetes, as regular soda. Educate yourself!
Though I've pretty much given up on drinking sodas/pop, sometimes there's just this craving for something fizzy with flavor. Rather than grabbing a soda, I have sparkling water (or club soda), and put in about a tbsp of whatever flavoring I want. When I feel like I want to sip on a cool summer cocktail but I don't want the calories and alcohol, I mix a crystal light packet with club soda. It sparkles, is fun to drink, and feels like a summer beverage without all of the calories.
