It's easy to forget how much we have to be grateful for. I found that taking the time to write down 5 things a day that I'm grateful for brings me joy, happiness, and peace. You can't buy that! emoticon

    As I'm looking after an 88 year old lady with dementia, am so grateful for being healthy and treat every day as a bonus and when the going gets tough, I jsut think how lucky I really am!

    I try to write periodic lists of things I like, things that are good in my life, cool little (and big!) things I notice, et cetera. Really helps me to stay positive if I'm going down into the dumps, and it helps to lighten my mood more if I'm already feeling upbeat. emoticon
