when i feel that way I take a journal and write on one page and answer the negative ideas on the opposite page after taking a break. Often then I can respond as I would if answering a friend or colleague and listen to the positive side of myself.

I'm usually a Positive person but sometimes things do get me down!!!When that happens I pen down each negative thought on a piece of Paper.I then burn that piece of Paper---symbolically burning each Negative thought and aspect that I've purged my mind of by writing it down.It gives me a feeling of Relief and a weight lifts off! I then engage myself in some of my favourite activities or listen to bright ,peppy Music---and slowly Life regains it's Rosier look again---and the Blues fade away!!
My favourite methods for coping with the Blues are---a favourite Book or peppy Music or an old favourite Musical Movie---best of course are the Walt Disney Cartoons and also Tom & Jerry--Laurel & Hardy--Charlie Chaplin.They're the best--'coz Laughter IS the BEST Medicine!!
