I'm the kind of person that likes to have something on TV when I'm doing chores around the house. Not that I'm paying attention and watching all of the time, but just something to listen to while I'm folding laundry, paying bills, etc.

"Food Network" used to be my stand-by channel, but I began to wonder if I was sabotaging myself by being bombarded with shows about FOOD! Now if I want background TV noise, I choose the Universal Sports channel or one of the ESPN channels.

I use to find it hard to get my 30 mins of cardio in, now I trick myself into not noticing the time. I just catch up on a show that I really get into while on the treadmill and I don't even notice the time goinmg by.
