Postpone Dessert For 1 Hour After Dinner

Sometimes I get the munchies after dinner. So, instead of eating junk food while watching tv, I postpone dessert for about 1 hour after dinner. I do the dishes, clean up the kitchen, watch a little tv, and it's nearly 8 pm - my usual time for the munchies.

This satisfies my sweet tooth, desserts are portion controlled, and it stops the mindless snacking at night in front of the tv.

    nice idea this way you have something to look forward to when your work is all said and done. to set down and enjoy a desert.
