If you can afford it, subscribe to a fitness/health oriented magazine like Health, Women's Health, or Runner's World. They serve as a monthly reminder to stay on track, and I always find something new to motivate me to keep going! You can also share magazines with friends or go to your library!

Subscribing to fitness and health magazines has really helped motivate me. They have new ideas for workouts and healthy meals in each issue, which keeps me from getting in a rut, or worse, burned out! I used to pick up magazines when I shopped, but by subscribing, I never miss a new issue, and since I subscribe to a bunch of them, my motivation arrives in my mailbox 6 times a month! It keeps me on track, and always seems to arrive just when I start looking for something new...
I love magazines, I really do. But I no longer buy off the stand. I only subscribe to 3 magazines. When I'm done with them, I take them to my library, where they resell for a dime AND I look thru their racks & pick up magazines that I don't subscribe to, for a dime! Can't beat that!
One of the best ways to save money is to make use of your local public library. Our library not only has books and magazines, but classic and current movies on DVD or VHS. Library cards are free when you present a driver's license or other form of ID. The library is certainly a great resource for saving money. Blessings, Meg
