I often find I have trouble trying to find time to accomplish things around the house, such as cleaning, laundry, chores, maintenance. An easy way to get things done without too much effort or wasted time is to devote 15 minutes or less each day to a certain activity. For ex: dusting before bed.

It is easier than you think to quickly do a little chore and it really does not exert too much energy if you are tired. You can even quickly accomplish something in just 5 minutes. You also have the added benefit of a cleaner and more efficient house, less stress on cleaning day, and extra time.

    I do this quite often. I'll set aside a certain amount of time (usually 15 minutes) to work on a particular project (be it vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the bathroom, tidying up shelves and countertops...) and then go at it. When time is up, I am often surprised at how much I accomplished--and sometimes that 15 minutes is just enough to get me motivated and I continue to work on rather than stopping at the initial 15 minute limit.
