Here's one my friend taught me:

Love creamy salad dressing, but hate the calories that come with it? Ask for your dressing on the side (or put in a bowl at home) and dip the edge of each lettuce leaf and veggie in it. You'll use a lot less, but get all the flavour!

Yogurt dips make excellent salad dressings! Lower in calories, plus they have protein.

    I, too, dip my fork before the lettuce.

    I also dip my fork before the lettuce... and that uses even less dressing than dipping the lettuce leaf!
