I always carry a protein bar in my purse. I choose Pure Protein because it's a little lower in calories than some, about 180 depending on flavor. Things do come up where we don't get to eat as we planned and when I have this it helps fill me up and keep my protein up until I can get a regular meal

I've always been a gamer however being a gamer means sitting on your butt for extended amounts of time & not exercising.
So, in order to play 4 hours of Xbox 360, I have to spend 2 hours exercising, at least 3 times a week. Of course, during the semester, 2 hours of exercise = 4-6 hours of study time. Funny how that works out!
I try to snack on fruit & healthier snacks during game time whether it's on a console or gaming on the PC.
You can save on pantry items, especially healthier choices such as Kashi products and granola snacks by going to odd lots/big lots. They even carry some the these more expensive healthier choices in bulk for cheap! Just know that they don't always carry the same products, but you can always find some great food items.
