I put the pedometer on, walked around the property found out how many times I needed to do this in a day to reach 10,000 steps. Then I started bringing a plastic bag and now I know that thruout the day I need to walk around 10 times and I end my day with a VERY clean yard and over 10,000 steps
It is nice as now I don't have to have the pedometer on to know how many steps I take especially if I don't have appointments out of the house that day.

In striving for 10,000 steps a day, I walk the terminal instead of sitting at the gate and waiting for the plane to board.
Face it, planes don't leave early and there are plenty of boards listing departure gates and times to keep checking should your gate or departure time change. Besides - you'll have plenty of time to "sit" on the plane!
