I discovered a new use for an old toothbrush. When coloring your hair an easy way to color hard-to-reach places is to squeeze the hair color on an old toothbrush then draw it through your hair. This works good for spots such as around the ears and at the base of your hairline on the back of your neck. This way you don't get the haircolor all over your skin in those hard-to-reach spots!
Spray it with vinegar. Mildew on grout is no match for that miracle household cleaning dynamo called vinegar. Just pour somewhite vinegar into a container, dip in an old toothbrush, and scrub away at the mildew. Or pour the vinegar into a spray bottle, squirt it on the mildew, and let it sit for ten minutes. Rinse with water and apply the old toothbrush if necessary. Bleach is effective in removing mildew from tile grout. (con't) 432
Fill a spray bottle with equal parts of household chloride bleach and water. Spray the grout, let it sit a few minutes, and then wipe with a clean white cotton cloth.
You know the little areas that you seem to have a hard time cleaning because you can't get to it. Well, here is a solution. Keep the old toothbrush heads to you electric tooth brush. I use it to clean my rings, fine pieces of jewelry, around the sink handles and just little areas I can't seem to get really clean. A regular toothbrush works but, with the electric toothbrush is easier on the hands.
