I find the older I get the more I not only accept ME but I have learned to really LIKE me also.
I am an individual with the right to be so - I do not have to conform to anyones specific ideals of who I should be - this was a huge mistake I made while married. I tried like crazy to be what he wanted me to be ....instead he should have loved me for all of me - not just for how he thought I should be.
I like my uniqueness and I am learning that others do too....those who don't like me...who the heck cares....that is their problem....
Being true to myself is the number 1 thing......I strive for this every day.

I have depression and because of that, find it very difficult to get motivated and stay positive about exercising. Almost every time I want to start exercising, I get thoughts like " what's the point?" or I just start thinking about how uncomfortable/painful it will be, which makes me not want to even try... The secret I have to share is simple: just do it! DON'T THINK ABOUT IT because you are likely to talk yourself out of it. Instead, just get up, turn on your exercise video and get to it!!

Find a way to help yourself to deal with stress and give your mind and body a break. I find that my exercise in the pool does this very well. My son likes to run. My daughter likes to sing. Find the way that takes over your thoughts and gives you relief.

I would like to tell you exactly what to do, but each of us needs our own outlet. For me it is something I can sink my mind, body and focus into completely--for others it is a way to become absorbed using one or more of their senses completely.
