Think about how it will help you not only everyday but in the future. Something that we think is such a small change like tracking all of our food or exercising 10 minutes can have a great impact in many areas of our life.
Like for today it can make us confident and proud that we did it for that day. For the future it could mean less health problems or getting off of medicine.

We often beat ourselves up over our bad choices, failed attempts, etc. We probably wouldn't talk to a dog the way we talk to ourselves!! When you find yourself doing this, ask yourself if you'd say the same to a loved one? This reminds me that I have to treat myself as well as I treat others!
I'm telling EVERYONE I know about SP because it's SO MUCH BETTER TIME SPENT on the computer than Facebook!!! At least you're doing SOMETHING for YOURSELF to help BETTER yourself, whether it's losing weight or exercsing more -- it's a TOTAL SUPPORT site!!!
Join a SparkPeople challenge team.....it will motivate you to exercise or do whatever the challenge is. Sometimes we will do it for the good of the team and it ends up doing good for yourself! I can't believe I'm doing 30 to 90 minutes of exercise every day because I don't want to let the team down!!
