I buy the big containers of spinach and spring mix. To prolong their life, I wrap two paper towels into them by gently lifting the bottom and then covering the top. I will also wrap a damp paper towel around my romaine lettuce to keep ithe leaves from turning brown as well. Works great!
I never have wilted or slimy spinach or lettuce and never have to through it out!

I have found that drinking Green Tea is helping - I have 3 - 6 cups a day along with at least 8 - 10 pints of water.
