I discovered Leslie Sansone's "walk away the pounds" dvd's several years ago but just started using them faithfully about 2 years ago. The miles go by fast and it's a great workout! You get a much better workout than outside walking because you use resistance and weights. I love it.

  • I love to do her workouts too! She is so upbeat and it does go by quickly. I do those more in the winter and on rainy days. When it is nice, I like to put on my walking shoes and walk outside. I do have some nice hand weights that I got when I bought one of her DVD'd. Like to use those when walking too! - by BABYCAKES1984

    I love Leslie Sansone also. Newer DVDs are faster paced and more modern. I usually walk away the pounds 2-3 times a week and then supplement with other work outs. I live in Seattle, so I exercise indoors a lot. I have arthritis and a recent surgery and I can still do her routines and get a good workout. - by KAMOM2003

  • I put in Leslie's DVD and mute the TV, turn on my own music and just watch and follow her. Much of the time my music is faster paced that she is. I figure I have a more intense workout and actually go a little further than she, too. I like that she has several different distance and intensity selections, too.

  • I like to use her walking videos. I have gotten tired of her constant chatter sometimes, but it does help to make the time seem to go by faster. I always get a good workout especially since she uses the weights or bands along with the walking. - by MARYGOLD5

  • I have most of her DVD's I simply love working out to her DVD's! She makes you feel like you are right there with her and the group. Most of her workouts are easy enough for beginners.     I have one of these videos, and I truly enjoyed this exercise. I think it was a 1 or 2 mile, and it seemed to go by so fast! I would recommend this to someone who needs to work out at home, or has little time to exercise. Children also would enjoy these videos. emoticon - by ASHIPERS
