You should check out Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. It has changed our lives in that arena. Best of luck! - by ARAMIS5

I take all of my weekly grocery ads and review them to find all the items that are on sale. My son joins in by circling all of the items. I take the adds to WalMart and they will match all of the prices. This way you don't drive all over town wasting gas. This has saved my family a ton of money epecially since grocery prices are inceasing so rapidly. - by YOUCANDOIT20
  • slowly. Make small changes; a different laundry soap, use have the laundry soap. See if you like the results,or maybe make extra when cooking, then you have something in your frezzer when you are running behind. Once you do one, then make another money saving change. - by PRODUCE3
  • Don't be brainwashed by TV (I turned it off years ago). Don't buy new when you can buy used. Don't buy used retail whan you can buy from previous owner. Cook your own food. Don't trade in your car - sell it yourself and then buy a (new to you) used one. There are lots of ways to hold onto your money. Try subscribing to tiphero.com

  • by creating a spending plan and stick to it. KNOW WHERE EVERY CENT GOES. I can send you spreadsheets on excel if you wish. Just need your email address. If you make it a PRIORITY to save the first part of your check, you'll be surprised how your savings will add up. - by LADY_KATHY

Do not watch TV. The ad's will tell you why you should spend money, how you should spend it and that unless you buy thier product/service, you will be unhappy. When you stop watching TV, you begin to make decisions based on your actual needs instead of needs that have been "planted" in your mind. Take control. Say no to advertisements. emoticon - by MEMORYAMETHYST
  • Start with one day at a time as we make time for do the things we wanna do. It's all about priorities and the choices we make. emoticon - by SUNSET09
