Secrets of Success

Always Have A Plan B

If I can't make my scheduled workout due to life, I go to plan B and do what I can... something is always better than nothing and you can work out literally everywhere... at night at grad school, I ran stairs during my 10 min break-LOL! Stuck in airport? Run laps... who cares what people think?

  • Have a plan C and D too...backups are important. When my neck/back are hurting, I modify what I do. When anything else is going on---I'll do the same.

I have lots of different or alternative plans based on what may be going on each day. - by KMRJPR

I did just that today. I work overnight at an ER and I wanted to go to an 8am class at the gym. Unfortunately, we had a late patient and I got out to late to go to class. I went home and slept (7 hours) then took my husband to the beach and power walked while doing upper body weight routine for 30 minutes. Then we sat and watched the sunset. It was so lovely and I felt like I was "OK" for missing the hour class. - by SQUAW27

  • I think this is a fantastic idea! I think a lot of us feel if we can't devote 30 minutes to something that its not worth even trying but 10 minute intervals do add up! :) - by CICI510
