Give It 5 Minutes

This Sparked Me!

Promise yourself that you'll do at least 5 minutes of exercise per day. The likelihood is that you'll get into it enough that you'll keep going. If not, 5 minutes is at least better than no minutes at all!

Even if you exercised during just one TV commercial, you'd get close to 5 minutes in, so try exercising during all of them -- a 1 hour TV show will give you about 20 minutes of exercise.

I started with 10 min 3 times per week and while I was at work i had to incorporate walking in place, yoga poses, arm and leg exercises, stretching, drinking water, and meditation. I work 13 hr days so this keeps me active and moving throughout the day.I start my day with my treadmill and it gets me started an focus for the rest of my day.

Totally needed to read this today. With it being colder and darker this time of year I'm not as motivated to exercise, but giving myself 5 minutes may jumpstart me to do 30 minutes.
