This is a so true approach and the one I will use. I will ride my stationary bicycle on the patio today for at least 15 minutes. I will do this everyday until I can ride for 30 minutes in two 15 min intervals. Plus I already walk my dog about three times a week. May go to five days .

just getting started is such great advice!
& JNUDJF, Here is a suggestion to reduce snacking: try drinking a glass of water before eating for every craving. Our minds can't usually tell the difference between hunger and thirst so try the 0 calorie option first, water!
If you still get cravings before bed, water first, then try a protein filled snack like a string cheese - protein won't give you quite the metabolism "rush" that other types of food will because it takes more work to break down. A metabolism "rush" tends to make it hard to sleep. This leads to being more tired during the day, which leads to more eatin for energy usually with a nighttime snack, which leads to worse sleep.... which leads me to my next simple suggestion...
Get all your sleep! as I said above, you can get into a bad cycle of eating for energy you could have gotten simply by sleeping 8 hours!

Make a List of Exercise Tha's FUN!
I know I could not stick with a workout routine I hated. So I made a list of active things I enjoy, and then I look for ways to fit them into my week. It's a joy instead of a chore. My list was:
For Fat Burning-Just Keep Moving!!! Go for time instead of distance or intensity
No matter what type cardio I am doing-I just keep moving...even if I have to slow it down from a jog to a very slow walk. I started going for time (one hour) instead of distance or intensity. I tell myself to be the last one on the track. Often i get a second wind a can jog more later on
MORE INFORMATION:
Once I started doing over an hour of cardio (running/walking/jogging) I started seeing a difference around my waistline.
