I think the quote "You are who you think you are. You become who you think you will become", has a lot of truth in it. Maybe, our thoughts do create our situations and we can begin to alter our lives with just our thoughts.... Something to think about.

Before I try something I research it especially meds. Since starting Spark people I have researched the foods I am eating and have been educated. Foods I thought where good have proved to not be, Fruits, veggies, 100% fruit juices have very valuable components for your body. I eat a lot of them and also some meats, but have learnt fruits & veggies are very healthy for you. I want to put the best foods I can in my body to keep me healthy and strong.
Be totally honest when tracking your food. Weight out/Measure your food - don't think you are fooling your body, just because you enter lesser amounts on the nutritional tracking. Your body knows what you eat and what you exercise.
Instead of looking at unhealthy foods and thinking "I can't eat that," or "I shouldn't eat that," I look and say, "I DON'T eat that." I find this kind of proclamation makes it easier for me to stick to my principles of good eating. I don't eat fast food (and haven't in years).
