Control Snacking With Dental Hygiene

This Sparked Me!

One of my nonfitness goals is to floss. I found that this also helps to curb my snacking. I'm less likely to eat out of boredom and think about what and when I'm eating when my teeth are clean. It may seem a little weird but I'll take it!

I was going to post a tip about brushing your teeth when you feel like putting more food in your mouth. I do this at work in the mid-morning when I feel like I am "starving" and because I don't want to mess up my fresh breath, I won't eat anything else until lunch.

Brilliant! This is a foolproof method for brushing away "mouth hunger," not to mention the cosmetic advantages :)

I do this too, in the evening when I want a snack and know I have had enough, I go and brush my teeth for the night and use mouth wash, cant eat after that emoticon
