I'm going to see my family and friends across the country on June 28th. I made a goal to be at my healthy weight by then. Time is ticking, and this obsession had gotten me FROZEN with anxiety and fear that I would fail! Today, I FINALLY realized that I need to take that goal OFF of that deadline and

RELAX!! Losing 40 lbs. is statement enough, progress enough, and success enough to be absolutely THRILLED! Now, I can move forward without the crisis mentality that I've already failed without giving myself a chance! emoticon

    I to have a goal to be at my healthiest weight by march next year, however; due to a recent depression episode, I along with my husbands heartfelt talk, I had decided to take it much slower. Now my new goal is to lose around 30 lbs by March 2011.. Thank you in also helping me see that I am not the only one going though this. My previous goal had really freaked me out, and more and more I read from other SparkPeople, the gradually it is sinking in... emoticon
