Keeping a visual chart of your weight progress where you can see it every day!
Untill i started to weigh myself every day and printed a chart to follow my progress, i hadn't realised how my weight fluctuate so much from one day to the other. I had to admit to myself that it was time to change as i could see the truth in the numbers every day when i woke up. i was also able to pin point what was making me put on weight, by checking waht i had eaten on days i put on more weight. i hope this will work for soem of you too 306
Surprisingly, weighing myself every day has made me less stressed about the ups and downs of weight loss. Seeing how weight fluctuates day-to-day lets me see long-term trends rather than putting all my hard work (and self-worth!) to the test in only one weekly weigh-in.
Going up two pounds is no big deal if you know most of the difference is based on what you ate, when you ate, and how hydrated you are, whereas going up two pounds after working hard for a week is very discouraging. Use the scale to take power away from the scale!
