Using the remaining portion of candles after the wick is burned

I have a candle warmer, $5 from Walmart. I use the old candles without wicks by cutting them into pieces and placing them in a container, if they are not in one already, and warming them.

Yankee Candles...I've got to have them!

I just love the scent and practicality of Yankee Candles! When you live in Vermont...a power outage prone area due to all the snow storms...you just must keep a supply of Yankee Candles on hand...they are beautiful and they smell wonderful....they give any room they are in a special glow...they are currently having their big after Christmas sale...and to all those that are low on candles it is a perfect opportunity to stock up! Candle Tips

To keep those pillar candles and 3-wicks nice and shiny - use an old pair of knee-hi stockings to buff them up to a nice shine! Also - before burning pillars and larger candles be sure to trim wick to 1/4 inch and make sure it is centered for a nice even burn!
