I LOVE adding garlic to many of my meals..not to mention it's super good for you! But chopping it up is so tedious! So, while watching Rachael Ray one day, I noticed she uses a hand-held flat cheese grater to "chop" up her garlic. It is SO easy & quick. I cook w/garlic all the time now. Try it!

Forget about those horrid processed low-fat cheese creations. Get yourself a wedge of really excellent Parmigiano Reggianno and one of those high-quality microplane graters. They come in various sizes. Get one for hard cheeses.
A third of an ounce of cheese grates into a great big mound of tasty topping for your whole wheat spaghetti, salads and soups . You will probably use even less.
