It's that time of year! Grill up some bell peppers and stuff them with brown rice, roast eggplant slices and top with a mix of Greek yogurt and fresh herbs, or grill up zucchini slices and toss with homemade vinaigrette!
You can also grill asparagus, red onions, artichokes, portabello mushrooms, corn on the cob and new potatoes. For dessert, throw on some pineapple rings!

Tame a wild barbecue - Toss a bit of salt on flames from food dripping in barbecue grills to reduce the flames & calm the smoke without cooling the coals (like water does). Kill poison ivy - Mix three pounds of salt with a gallon of soapy water (use a gentle dish soap) & apply to leaves and stems with a sprayer, avoiding any plant life that you want to keep.
