Whenever I feel that I have problems out of control and find myself filled with negative thoughts I go for a walk in sun light and fresh air. Imagine that you are throwing the negative energy you have inside. Raise you head high to feel the sun light in your face and get fresh air in. Then run to break the stress. After that try to think and find solutions for your problems. Even if you didn't find a solution you will find yourself have the power to face it.
Usually, I would jump all into dieting: change everything to fat-free, get the yuckiest stuff just because it's low-cal, turn away from every "fattening" thing I saw. That can only work for so long. I have made my changes less drastic this time around. Some low-fat items are really good. Some things you just need to eat as is and count it in your calories. Moderation & baby steps will get us there!
I like the low-fat Breakstone's dairy line (sour cream, cottage cheese) and I really like the 'ultra' or superskim milk instead of plain skim. Those little changes alone saved me a good many calories so I can eat the regular yogurt I really like. Nip & tuck, but you have to enjoy what you eat!
Beating Stress and Staying Positive All at Once!!!
I just started this great way of relieving stress and it works great! Every time I start getting tease and angry I spritz a good smelling perfume or smell something close by that smells good. Instant good mood!334
I found that strawberry works to energize me and lilac and lavender calm me down! 41
