I eat oatmeal a lot but have a hard time choking it down it it get slimy. The new way is so simple and always tastes great. 3/4 cup of rolled oats, 1/4 cup or less of unsweetened fruit juice. Let it sit for a couple of minutes then top with fresh fruit. It's delicious and can be changed easily by changing fruit, adding 1 tsp ground flax or walnuts..
