Having sparkling mirror

If the mirror of your bathroom is spotted with dirt, I have a secret to make it shine. Before washing your towels, pass on the mirror by adding a few drops of water on the mirror before. Magic! No detergent, no wipes, just "de l'huile de coude" (expression in French). A step for the planet!

What You Don't Know May Help...

I cover up the display on the machines at the gym in order to focus more on the workout and not the time. Then as I start to feel tired I will peek at the display and realized how much time went by quickly--it helps to focus on music or the tv if there is one.

Go green to wash the greens

Sew a drawstring bag from two kitchen towels. When you wash your lettuce, you can put it in the bag and shake so that the towels absorb the moisture. The towel bag can be washed and recycled. Use this for washing grapes too! emoticon emoticon

Dryer Sheets - Cut them in HALF or Not at All for Bath Towels

Dryer sheets are chemicals that melt in the heat of the dryer that then coat your laundry. Use half or none at all for your bath towels and wash cloths, etc. This coating is what makes your towels less absorbent. This goes for liquid fabric softener, too!
