I started a workout challenge to stay active while at home. I called it the World Cup Challenge. Every day I changed the rules depending on my mood. On days I didn't feel like doing anything, I told myself, "Just do 10 minutes to complete today's challenge!" I kept this up for 32 days, the duration of the World Cup. Just enough time to make daily workouts a habit.
One of the ways I stay active on spark people is to use the spark streaks. Logging on to spark is one of my streaks and because I do not want to break it I have logged on just about every day. Even if I do not feel up to sparking I will log on and that gets me going.
Keeps me focused, the little things add up. Each day I make my bed, take my vitamins, have my water and aim for a minimum of10 minutes of fitness. These tasks are small but they are the foundation of my healthier lifestyle. I'm taking time to do things for me, to help my life.
