Cut Down on Cooking Oil

Put all of your oils in spray bottles, label them and adjust the spray to a mist. Use in place of cooking sprays - you'll need much less oil when you saute foods.

Tick 'n Mosquito Tip

For Lyme & West Nile disease prevention, we often use bug repellent that comes in a spray can. We spray our clothes BEFORE we put them on! Works great. Spread or layer clothes outside on a suitable surface...spray front and back and all the neck/arm/waist openings. Kids are much happier doing it this way....so are the adults. No wiggling, no breathing vapors, or worry about eyes...more confidence that you did a quality job. Obviously, use spray intended for human clothing. emoticon

No butter corn on the cob

I LOVE corn on the cob but the butter we lather on it is killer. Now I use "pam" type spray instead. Just spray it on instead of butter and add salt. It sticks just like butter because of the spray. What would I do without my Pam?!?!? Try it, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Prepara Oil Mister for Low-Fat Cooking

This oil mister has changed my life. I have tried other plastic oil misters in the past but they have clogged or broken easily. The beauty of the Prepara Oil Mister is that it is durable, it is easy to use and it doesn't clog!!! You can use ANY oil you want. I use canola but will buy a 2nd for EVOO.
