Quit the cola!

When I gave up soda, I did it by drinking water-- every time I went to grab a soda, THOUGHT about grabbing a soda, or even SAW soda, I drank a glass of water instead. After a few weeks, I was off soda for good, and onto a healthy water habit.
My partner gave up soda by switching out his soda with seltzer water. You can buy it in a variety of flavors (usually in the soda aisle or water aisle) and it's a GREAT alternative if you still want the fizzy comfort.

People say to drink a lot of water. But water gets boring. So, I drink seltzer (sparkling water) instead! I personally like plain seltzer but there are a lot of different flavors that have no calories. With seltzer, it's a lot easier to drink more water and use everyone else's water-related-secrets

Make Your Own Seltzer and Save Plastic, Calories, and No More Schlepping

I love seltzer/sparkling water but really don't like schlepping all those heavy bottles home. I recently purchased a SodaStream seltzer maker and it's WONDERFUL. Fresh bubbly water, no calories, no more plastic bottles, and no more breaking my back! They also kick in samples of flavors to try out.

Cut Juice with Water or Club Soda/Seltzer/Sp
arkling
Water

Juice can be high sugars and calories. However, if you cut it with water, it lasts longer, tastes less sweet, but just as satisfying, and keeps those calories in check. Instead of water, use club soda for a great soda substitute! I now only use a splash of juice for flavor.
