Go for it

so you're feeling like the couch is your best bet today huh? wrong! Come the end of today you'll feel restless and will be saying "I wish I'd walked/cycled/swam" (whatever)
So don't just sit there feeling low, GO FOR IT.

Even if it's only 15 mins you'll fee the benefit later and MAN will it lift your mood emoticon

Healthy Lifestyle & V3

Let me just say I have tried many things. WW, Adkins, South Beach Diet and just plain old eating right and exercise. NOTHING worked as well as the V3 product. I recently completed my 3 months with Weight Watchers & w/the assistance of V3 I have lost over 25lbs. I was eating healthy, walking 3 days a week and using my eliptical machine 3 days a week. I have about 25 more pounds to lose, but this time, I really am not worried. I know I'll do it.

Hills for mood and weight-bearing cardio

Walking steep hills for an hour or so transformed my mood, i went from depressed and bingeing to energized and the fat seemed to drop quicker than I ever expected. The key I think is that it is great for your mood, try to be irritable after you make it up a hill, impossible, and it ups the metabolism.

Laughing is good for you!

Laughing is one of the best ways to relieve stress, change a mood, or an attitude. It jolts your thoughts into a positive thinking cycle. Simply watching or listening to someone laugh can trigger feel good endorphins to be released in the brain which helps reduce mental & physiological symptoms of stress. It's also contagious. Personal Dance Party!!

I used to do this a lot when I lived alone, and I have found a few others who also do it. If you're feeling stressed or depressed, collect some favorite songs or CDs, close the door, and have your own private dance party. You can blast the music through a stereo, or put on your headphones, and just move around. Even 15 minutes of this will raise your heart rate and your spirits. It's free, and it's all about what you enjoy and connect to. And remember: nobody's watching!!

Dance the jumping jacks!

In order to complete my (at least) 50 Jumping Jacks per day, which I don't schedule within my workout routine, I jump of my chair whenever a song I like plays in the radio ("Right back where we started from" for example) and I start silly dancing and doing the jumping jacks! emoticon

Avoid morning grumpiness with protein

Save some of your calories for a before-bed snack. Then eat some protein. (Contrary to popular belief, if doesn't matter when you eat, but how much you eat in a day.) Have some Greek yogurt, a slice of cheese, a piece of chicken, a small serving of cottage cheese, some deli turkey, an egg. You will wake up much less grumpy in the morning because your blood sugar will not be so low. Then eat some healthy protein for breakfast.. (continued)

Get out of Bed on a Positive Note

As an emotional eater, I am constantly sneaking in positive reminders to myself in various formats. I particularly like when my mobile phone calendar alarm sounds off at 6:00am with a daily motivational reminder like: “Act as if today is a great day!” or “Act as if I am strong, lean, healthy, and sexy”.

Laugh when you can

Laughter lightens the mood, lifts your spirits, makes you forget your troubles, and makes others smile or laugh with you. I think we must burn more calories laughing then brooding

Gratitude

Practicing gratitude is one of the most important habits we can form. When the dark clouds of worry, despair, anger, depression and helplessness hang over our heads, being able to express gratitude for something or someone will boost our attitudes. It will enhance a good mood too!!
