Having a Positive Attitude & Mental Strength

I've lost 50 lbs once, gained it back plus more, and then lost 75 lbs from January 2011-May 2011 and have been slightly losing since then. I have had the struggles that everyone experiences and the only way to have success is to have a positive attitude in combination with the mental strength to make decisions that are beneficial to your goals. Once you have success, whether its 5 lbs or 50 lbs, the positive emotions you endure should drive you to keep working hard to achieve what you deserve!

Mind over Matter...or refrigerator...
or
cookie....or candy...or sweet

When I have a craving that I know it's not a healthy choice for me, I stop and mentally (or sometimes verbally) remind myself that I have control over my choices. My mind is stronger than the craving and I can walk away.

This is a Mental Thing

Do not think of losing weight as simply eating right and exersizing. It is a mental thing. You have to have a positive attitude and focus on the end results, not the struggle ahead. Take each day one at a time, one foot in front of the other. You WILL achieve what you set out to do.

Develop A Positive Attitude

I see the positive side of all circumstances and situations. Being positive won't prevent problems from occurring but will lessen their effect on us. Always believe in yourself and trust that things WILL work out for the better.
