I am keeping the follwing four A's in mind: Avoid, Alter, Accept and Adapt. Whenever I feel my head is ready to pop from stress i'm going to look at the root cause and determine which one of the 4 A's can be applied.
At least once a day, I put on my headphones and blast "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga. Regardless of your musical preferences, it is such a powerful message. I sit and take it all in, and I feel confident and motivated. Bonus - It is also a great workout song!

Imagine how bad you feel when you're sick. It's terrible. Why? Because your body is getting rid of something it doesn't need. Imagine how bad it feels when you're trying to lose weight. It sucks! But this is the reason: your body is getting rid of crap that doesn't need to be there. Enjoy it!
My exercise mantra is simply, "Keep moving. No matter what."
Today I read this from PianoAngelwings.....Picnic Smart. It is a mantra I will carry with me through the holiday weekend. It is a motivation from a Spark Friend. How fortunate we are to be able to get words of wisdom and carry them with us along with the warm feelings of friendship.
One mantra I have learned is "oh it's just one of those faamily thangs" for times of stress. One doesn't have to explain your feelings or situation to others. Just say those words. All women friends understand. And it helps you yourself put it into perspective.
