LEMON!

Starting each day, as soon as my feet hit the floor, with an 8oz glass of hot water with half a lemon squeezed in really revs me up, wakes up my system and preps my metabolism for the nutrients ahead!

Honey -Lemon combo for weight loss

1)Eat within 20 minutes after waking up.
2)Mornings--Mix honey with a cup of warm water with 2 drops of lemon for weight loss
3) Split your meal. Have 6 small meals instead of 3 big meals a day.
4) Go vegetarian. Eat Raw.
5) And a half an hour cardio .

Restaurant Tip

Most restaurants are really cold, which always makes me want to order something hearty and comforting. If I get a hot water with lemon (hot tea would work, too) and warm up a little before I order my meal, I'm much more likely to order something that's actually good for me.

Spice up your water

It is sometimes hard for me to get in my 8 glasses of water a day. I get bored with the flavor. So, I like to squeeze in some lemon juice and add a natural sweetener packet. This gives it a refreshing flavor and encourages me to consume more water. If you are on the go, I suggest True Lemon, which is a all natural packet of lemon that you can take with you.

Hot lemon Water

I was on a month long plateu until I started to drink a mug of boiled water with a slice of lemon in it. I don't know if it's the reason I lost 3lbs in a week, but it was the only change I made! Other than that, it's a good way to cleanse your digestive system and start the day.

Drink more water - Add Metro Mint water to plain water for flavor

I add Metro Mint water in peppermint, spearmint, lemon mint, orange mint, and even chocolate mint to my plain water to help me guzzle down the 8 glasses per day.

Lemon-Juice-To-
Go
for water

When out & about, it's hard to take actual lemon juice with you to flavor water. TrueLemon packets are crystallized lemon juice and are individual-portion-sized. Just dump 1/2-1 packet in your water & you've got lemon water. Usually find it in juice aisle next to lemon juice. Helps when not near a water filter. emoticon

A Simple & Refreshing Hot Drink--A mug Of Hot Water With A Lemon Slice

I was reading about Marissa Tomei in a health magazine and it said in the mornings, she didn't drink coffee, but that she would have a mug of hot water with a slice of lemon as a refreshing beverage. I tried it myself this morning and it really is good! emoticon For any time of day!

Water & Splenda With a Slice of Lemon

In addition to needing my daily water, I am a Diabetic. Going out to lunch or dinner generally leaves me with 3 choices of beverage - water, coffee or tea.
Plain tea is a very few times a year drink and decaff coffee is about twice a month at breakfast.

Water with a twist

When eating out, I always ask for ice water with a lemon slice.
It encourages me to drink my water, the lemon cuts the chlorine in the water, and makes it easier to drink. It also saves money to drink water.

Water! Water and yet more Water

I drink so much water! As we all do!! So a little trick that I use. True Lemon, True Lime, and True Orange! 1 packet=large wedge of the fruit. 2 packets=1Tof the fruit.
You can add flavor with no calories and no sugars!! The Lemon has 25% of your daily vitamin C!!!

Make Water Fun!

I add chopped mint leaves (fresh, not dried!), slices of fresh ginger and slices of fresh lemon to my water. I make up a bunch of bottles and have them in the fridge ready to go. The mix makes my water taste lovely without adding sugar, articicial sweeteners or acids that would upset my stomach.
