Need a quick Blood Sugar pick me up?

I did not have many carbs at dinner and noticed on my tracker that I had not met my protein for the day. Two problems: I was at my daily limit of fat but my after dinner glucose check was 65! Even though it wouldn't be the end of the world if I missed my goal a little, I wanted to be creative instead. My solution: I cut up a medium nectarine into a one cup serving of fat free greek yogurt and topped it with some cinnamon! Instantly fixed my protein deficit/sugar crisis, and I met my goal. emoticon
