Follow your average weight rather than the specific daily number

Instead of weighing only weekly, weigh daily and use a tracker like physicsdiet.com to average your numbers. Then you can see the trend among all the usual fluctuations.
This is particularly useful during plateaus, and close to goal weight and for maintenance.
