I discovered this secret recently while setting up for strength training. I use 2 8-lb dumbbells and 2 5-lb dumbbells -- just about the amt of weight I've lost so far.
I keep Smart Ones/Healthy Choice versions of "comfort foods" like Mac&Cheese, Tuna Noddle Gratin, 3-Cheese Ziti Marinara, or Turkey & Dressing, stocked in my freezer, so when I have a craving, I can "indulge" without blowing my diet or over-eating!
I love comfort food, and this book is full of delicious recipes. I ignore the meal plans and success stories and skip right to the recipes, and I even sometimes manage to make them a little lighter than it calls for (i.e. turkey instead of beef)
