When I don't want to workout? I put on my workout clothes I can't remember where I learned this, but putting on my workout clothes when I don't feel like working out somehow gives me just the boost I need to get me out the door. It works 99% of the time. So keep those tanks, tees, sports bras and biking shorts ready to go. Once you're dressed the reasons not to workout suddenly disappear.

I "vision collaged" my back of the door mirror, this way I "SEE" it all the time!!! Everyday, sometimes several times a day! Foods, Exercises, Physically fit bodies, places I want to go and things I want to do!! Anything that is something to strive for or look forward to I put it on the edge of that mirror. SO when I do that one last check in the mirror before I sweep out the door I know what I want in LIFE!!! EVerything I want to live for is there: Prayer, Familiy, Friends.Healthy Lifestyle!

Determined to stay off the couch in the evening after a long day and exercise, I found if I sit on the floor I end up doing all my Calisthenics, yoga poses and stretching, while hanging with hubby and enjoying our tv show.

Buy that piece you so badly longed for!!!
I have always dreamed of wearing a nice dress, but I've been wearing pants since I remember. When I started the journey I bought I really nice (smaller) dress and it hangs next to my mirror. Every time I need motivation I put it on and imagine the day I'm gonna wear it. I'm going to look gorgeous! That inspires me!

Don't forget to itemize your donated clothes. Since I have began loosing weight I found I had many outfits that do not fit. I am getting rid of them. In the past I just stored them not realizing I was putting out to the Universe "I will be fat again." ...This time the ones that were large were donated even the nice stuff. In addition, I got rid of many of the baggy, comfy ones. Now, when I do my taxes next year the deduction will be nice!

Do get yourself clothes that fit as your body changes size. Goodwill, resale stores, seasonal sales, whatever your budget allows. Feel good about the way you look RIGHT NOW!

Whenever I get the urge to snack on something or am about to sit down to a meal where I have the option of eating something I'm not supposed to, I go window shopping online to look at all the cute clothes I will be able to buy if I choose to make the right choices. This works anywhere nowadays, because even away from the computer I can still look it up on my phone.

Whenever i'm getting off track or even when i'm feeling a little bored I look over my old blogs. Almost all of them give me a more positive perspective or solutions to what I want to tweak or change. Should I not feel more empowered or motivated to a new direction then I hit some of my SP friends blogs.

I went to a thrift store and bought 3 inexpensive jeans, kinda tight but not to tight. When those jeans start to feel lose I take those old jeans back to the thrift store then buy another 3 kinda snug jeans. I could tell I was losing weight buy the way the jeans felt, and it makes me feel like I accomplished something. Like a game, for each pants size is a new level of weight loss and I get to go out and buy more jeans while getting to get rid of bigger ones.

It can be a little overwhelming, but you can save so much money by shopping at them. I saved about $700 on clothing this summer by thrifting. I also have a blog where I post all my finds etc. Feel free to check it out!

Shrunk out of your wardrobe? Organize a clothing swap! Are you shrinking out of your wardrobe, but don't want to buy new clothes because you're still losing? Organize a clothing swap with your friends. Plan a party where everyone brings clothes they no longer want. Set all the clothes out, and everyone gets to "shop" amongst the clothes. If two people want the same item, play rock/paper/scissors to determine who gets it. It's a great "girl's night" event, and a great way to refresh or "downsize" your wardrobe for free!!

Window Surf and Shop to avoid mindless munching When I am tempted to snack or eat out of boredom not hunger, usually all night long, I get on a website or read a magazine full of clothes I dream of getting into and window shop. Before I know it the urge to snack has passed and I'm even motivated to get up and exercise instead sometimes.

I have a bathing suit I want to fit into - bought it YEARS ago. I've hung it up by the fridge so I have to see it each time I go to eat and I'm reminded of what I'm working towards. It's a very good motivator.

Invest in wicking workout exercise clothes The improved materials for sports are great for making your exercise more enjoyable. Look for end of season sales if you have sticker shock and remember you will wear them more often than "regular" clothes so they end up being worth the cost "per wear." Hang dry (especially chamois bike shorts) and avoid dryer sheets that will reduce their ability to wick sweat away and reduce the lifetime of the product.
Instead of going out for a new outfit, shop your closet.

Wear the right size clothes in flattering colors Wear clothes that are becoming, no matter what size you are. Choose colors that compliment you and features that hide flaws and highlight assets. Don't stuff yourself into too small clothes. As you lose, chose more fitted clothes that will help you gauge your progress and motivate you to keep the weight and inches off. At some point, a belt will become an accessory!
