Clean Eating has been the answer for me. I have finally started losing weight and getting my life under control!
"Clean" Cupboards and Fridge
Making certain that all food choices in my kitchen are healthful choices helps me to stay on track with my goals. I follow the You On A Diet eating approach by Drs.. Oz and Roizen. I've done the same with the food I have at my office. I have small baggies of healthy treats such as almonds or walnuts, a few pieces of fruit and some single serving organic soups.

Zesty dressing ideas
I have found 2 healthy dressings to use on salad, veggies, and even fruit.
#1 - Flaxseed oil + Apple Cider Vinegar+ your favourite spices (I tend to use garlic, ginger, chilli flakes, and lime)
#2 - Greek Yoghurt can be used as sour cream or
mix some with lime juice and garlic...just a tablespoon is plenty! Really YUM! OR
Blend some Greek Yoghurt with strawberries or raspberries with Stevia and cinnamon and use for fruit...

I like steel-cut oats, but don't like the watery texture. Adding a little bit of rolled oats near the end of cooking makes it creamier and more appetizing.
Fitness Has No Age Limit
After we hit age 40 I think we all start to think I can't do this or that because I'm getting too old. I'd think, "I'm middle aged, there is no way I'm going to lose this weight.". But I did and I owe it to women like Tosca Reno, Oxygen Magazine columnist and author of the Clean Eating Diet books, who is such a positive inspiration to me. Tosca got ultra fit and healthy after age 40. She's 50 now and looks better than ever. I keep pictures of her around for inspiration.
There are NO Cheeto trees!
